National Network Ac.Sé

The National Network for the Assistance and Protection of Human Trafficking Victims:

  • Provides vulnerable or endangered victims of human trafficking with the opportunity to relocate in France and obtain support and protection
  • Manages a resource center for professionals in contact with trafficking victims

 

The National Network is an integral part of the means of protection available to victims of human trafficking in France. It was cited in Decree n°2007-1352 (13 September 2007) concerning the "possibility of residency, protection, the reception and accommodation of foreign victims of human trafficking and pimping, and the modification of the Code of Entry and Residency of Aliens and the Right to Asylum," as well as in Circular n°IMIM0900054C (5 February 2009) regarding the "conditions for residing in France for foreign victims of human trafficking or pimping who cooperate with legal authorities."

Human Trafficking is:

1  AN ACT 2 A MEANS   3 A PURPOSE

The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or reception of persons, regardless of age.                            

 

The use of threat or force, constraint, fraud, deception, abuse of authority.                                

The exploitation of prostitution, forced labor, slavery or servitude, forced begging, removal of organs...

FRANCE - In April 2013, Najat VALLAUD-BELKACEM, Minister of Women's Rights and spokeswoman, defined the objectives of MIPROF, the inter-ministerial mission for the protection of female victims of violence and the fight against human trafficking (Mission interministérielle pour la protection des femmes victimes de violences et la lute contre la traite des êtres humains).
